Job Description for ICT PD Lead Teacher Lead, co-ordinate and facilitate the ICT PD learning community

Concept: To infuse, empower and enrich ICT learning pedagogy across the school

Key Objective	Results Expected	Possible Evidence / Examples
Ensure that learning is the central focus of the ICT PD contract, as in the Feilding Cluster Vision.	· All teachers will continue to learn new skills, new approaches and widen their curriculum knowledge in relation to the ICT PD goals · BOT and parents will be involved in the learning relating to the ICT PD goals	· Staff skill records, base line surveys · Staff reflective logs · Student surveys/skills records · Student achievement data relating to the contract · Newsletters · Parent/community meetings/evenings · BOT reports · Students portfolios
Share ideas and practices with colleagues	Take advantage of occasions to promote new ideas and practices · Empower other staff members to take leadership roles in ICT · Model ICT PD skills and processes · Lead learning conversations linked to ICT pedagogy	Staff meeting planning · Websites / URLs/Blogs · Quality learning circles planning and outcomes · Staff experts list · Model lessons · Work shops
Lead the design and planning of programmes, that will infuse I.C.T. into learning.	All teachers will co-operatively plan inquiry learning topics · Teachers confidence will grow in the learning and teaching process	Milestone reports to the facilitator · Teachers will show learning, planning and assessment incorporating I.C.T.
	ICT resources will grow and expand · Teaching techniques will include and incorporate recent research-based developments	ICT professional development programme and evaluations · Case notes

Take responsibility for communications networks relating to ICT PD cluster
Concept: Act as a facilitator, to ensure that the communication system allows all members of the school community to “know what is happening”

Ensure that the ICT PD communication network is effective and efficient

Play an active role in the ICT PD Lead Teacher Network

Hi All

Thanks for the great turn out yesterday. The meeting was productive and its great to see we are all keen to jump on the same waka. Looking forward to the next meeting and lets see if we can all use this page as a discussion area.
